ABOUT ME

Bill, what will you charge to work for me?
I charge 47.50 per hour for my labor.
I give a 10% discount on labor for members of the Military, Seniors, and Single-Moms. That figures out to 42.75 per hour.
I do not bill you for a "Service Call Charge" for showing up at your house. Why would anyone do that? They have not done anything for you, and you have not received any benefit, that is the same as asking for money just for knocking on your door!
I only charge you for the time I actually work for you. I do not charge you, for instance, from the time I leave my house, only the time I actually do work for you. No phoney-baloney labor charges, or other "gimmicks".
Bill, what will parts, freon gas, etc., cost me?
You will be charged my net cost for anything I use.
I will provide copies of my actual invoice costs, with your ticket, so you can see exactly what my costs are. I make nothing on parts or equipment...zero, nada, zilch. Why would I charge you double or triple for parts, when you can almost all of the time go and buy the parts for what they cost yourself? Why should I insult you, take advantage of you, and rip you off for parts?
If I need to make more money for my family, shouldn't I just raise my labor rates, and be honest with you about what all parts and equipment cost, and charge you exactly what I will pay? All you have to do is call a supplier, or go on the internet to see what the part actually costs. Big discounts to contractors are a thing of the past, almost anyone can buy parts and equipment for the same price as a contractor pays.
Bill, will you install parts that I have purchased?
Yes, why wouldn't I? As long as the part is the correct one, what difference does it make if you buy it or I do?
Bill, the way you charge for labor and parts is not like the other guys...why?
The answer to that question is this:
Why don't the other guys charge you like I do?
